Decorative Ceilings Survey – Private Residential Villa – Qortuba

About the project

At Kiaal Kuwait, we carried out a post-execution decorative ceilings survey for a private residential villa in Qortuba, with on-site measurement of each floor and area individually, following the standards used in the Kuwaiti market, on behalf of the contractor to settle the executed works. At the client's request, we also prepared a separate report for the diwaniya ceilings.

Scope of Work

• GRG ceilings (m²): ceiling areas measured with openings deducted according to the technical standards approved in Kuwait
• Gypsum board ceilings (m²): executed areas
• Ceiling decorations (l.m): wall and central grooves, curtain boxes, wall and central cove lights, and bulkheads
• Additional items: maintenance access doors, light cut-outs, cladding works and a cement board partition

Result

• GRG ceilings: 1,027.16 m² net
• Gypsum board ceilings: 113.70 m²
• Wall & central grooves: 881.85 l.m
• Wall & central cove lights: 494.68 l.m
• Curtain boxes: 96.79 l.m
• Bulkheads: 104.68 l.m
• Maintenance doors: 37 nos.
• Light cut-outs: 290 nos.
• A detailed floor-by-floor PDF report with quantities, deductions and net totals for each item, plus a separate diwaniya report, ready for settlement
